RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Project Manager in Eau Claire, WI. This is a Full-Time, Contract, Onsite assignment with our client.

Overview of YOUR role as a Project Manager:

The successful candidate will manage the installation of a new gas turbine and multiple generator systems, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards. This role requires frequent on-site presence, with at least several days per week at the Eau Claire, WI, and MN project sites

As a Project Manager YOU will:
- Lead and manage the execution of multiple power generation projects, including the installation of a GE 7FA.05 gas turbine and 5 Wartsilia RICE (Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engine) generators.
- Be physically present on-site in Eau Claire, WI, and MN locations to oversee project progress, address issues, and coordinate with contractors and engineers.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
- Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate delays, cost overruns, and safety concerns.
- Prepare regular project status updates and communicate progress to stakeholders.
YOU are the ideal Project Manager candidate if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the power generation or energy sector.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site at project locations in WI and MN
- Experience with regulatory compliance and permitting in power generation projects
- Experience with gas turbines and Wartsilia RICE generators

Electrical Utilities Project Manager
RCS has an immediate need for Electrical Utilities Project Managers in Remote, US. This is a Full-Time, Direct Hire, Remote position.

Overview of YOUR role as an Electrical Utilities Project Manager:

Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, clients, and stakeholders and execute project scope and budget as developed by the project sponsor.

As an Electrical Utilities Project Manager, YOU will:
- Support Transmission, Distribution and Substation New Construction Projects
- Provide Bi-weekly Schedule and Monthly Budget updates.
- Manage Bid Events and Request for Estimates from Contractors.
- Review engineering designs for constructability.
- Conduct field visits as needed.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to complete substation/transmission/and distribution projects from start to finish (construction, project controls, land, environmental, IT, engineering, etc.).
- Provide Internal Reporting to leadership team and other stakeholders as needed.
- Communicate with customers and other internal organizations to determine technical requirements regarding the design of new customer-driven projects.
- Define the scope and operational requirements for preparation of preliminary electrical and civil design.
- Coordinate with Distribution Engineering, Civil Construction, PMO, Drafting, Scheduling, Construction, Environmental, Design Contractors, and other internal organizations to create electrical designs.
YOU are the ideal Electrical Utilities Project Manager candidate if you have:
- A Degree in Construction Management, Project Management Degree or related field and 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience managing several projects concurrently, adjusting to shifting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Ability to handle complex problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with others.
- Ability to travel one week out of the month.

YOU are the ideal Assistant Project Manager if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in construction management or the electrical utility space.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., OSHA, NEC).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Construction Project Manager to oversee the construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, particularly in the field of Electrical Voltage and will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the construction process adhere to predesign specifications and quality standards. - Either BS Engineering degree with 7 years experience or non engineering degree with 10 years experience
- Electrical construction experience
- CQM Certification
- Proven experience in managing construction projects, particularly in the Electrical Field.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Effective communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

Overview of YOUR role as a Project Manager:
The Project Manager is to be responsible at a customer level. For the customer, the project manager is responsible for the development of a project scope, schedule, and budget. The project manager will be responsible for a customer or multiple customers, responsible for managing a project from start to finish. Communicating the status of the project to the customer will be the manager’s responsibility, utilizing resources efficiently to exceed the requirements of the client. This position is responsible for the success of different teams assigned to a client related to a specific project. This position works under the direction of a senior management position. This position requires leadership and mentoring skills, strong communication skills, strong accounting skills, people skills, flexibility in managing complex processes, and strong team skills.

As a Project Manager YOU will:
- Provides project leadership at the Client Level:
  Project Initiation: Development of client proposals, work scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, including subcontractors; Assist project team in defining and clarifying.
- Assist Project Team in defining and clarifying project scope at a level of detail (WBS) required to satisfy customer’s expectations.
- Project Monitoring: Leads assigned project teams, ensuring that project goals and objectives are achieved, and all business processes and applicable procedures are followed. Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate detailed phases of engineering work for projects.
- Monitor and track project expenditures, earned value, cost and schedule performance as necessary to satisfy corporate requirements and ensure satisfactory budget performance on all projects. Assists project controls group with project closeout.
- Communicates effectively with each client on a regular basis; this includes keeping clients informed of issues that could adversely affect project execution or impact scope, schedule, or budget performance.
YOU are the ideal Project Manager if you have:
- BS in Civil Engineering Required; MS in Engineering Preferred.
- 15+ years Structural Experience Transmission Line Tower Analysis & Design.
  5+ years Project Management in Transmission Line Engineering
- CA PE License Required; PMP Certification Required
