RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Field Technician in Decatur, IL. This is a Full-Time, Contract, Field Assignment with our client.
Overview of YOUR role as a Field Technician:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Field Technician to join our team in communication construction. The ideal candidate will gather critical data, perform field operations, and ensure communication infrastructure is accurately assessed and maintained. This position involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires a high degree of physical endurance.
As a Field Technician YOU will:
- Work in an outdoor environment to collect field data that supports the communication construction projects.
- Submit organized, detailed data for each project, including maps, field notes, and digital images.
- Operate and maintain equipment such as tablet computers, digital cameras, measuring tools, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Represent our client and their customers professionally in the field.
- Communicate effectively and daily with the management team.
- Work safely and independently without supervision.
YOU are the ideal Field Technician candidate if you have:
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather.
- Can actively participate in physically demanding work lifting 15 to 20 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and safely.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Present a professional appearance and attitude.
- Demonstrate high work standards and attention to detail with a quality orientation.
- Able to stand and walk two to eight miles a day
- Reliable transportation
- Must have DL for all states
