RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Project Engineer in the Bay Area, CA. This is a full-time, direct-hire, hybrid position with our client.
Overview of YOUR role as a Project Engineer:
As a Project Engineer you will be preparing plans and specifications, providing construction engineering support and working alongside junior and senior members of the teams for a variety of projects ranging from small to large.
As a Project Engineer YOU will:
- Conduct planning studies, evaluations, and feasibility studies for water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure projects
- Prepare plans and specifications for new facilities and rehabilitation of existing facilities
- Provide construction engineering support services including submittal reviews, on-site observation, clarification of design, etc.
- Work under supervision of a senior project manager
- Supervise junior engineers on project teams
- Collaborate with other project team members in other disciplines
- Assist with project management
- Assist with proposals and client relationships
YOU are the ideal Project Engineer candidate if you have:
- BS degree in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering
- 5 to 10 years experience in planning, design, and/or construction management of water, wastewater, and/or stormwater infrastructure projects
- CA PE required
