RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Technical Lead-Sr. Project Manager .  This is a full-time, direct hire, remote assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.
 
Overview of YOUR role as a Technical Lead- Sr. Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Pipeline Design Engineer to join our team remotely. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and reviewing engineered pipeline construction drawings for natural gas pipeline and pipeline facilities. You will collaborate closely with drafters, designers, and management, ensuring designs meet company and client specifications. Your work will focus on executing project design work, including calculations, creating Bill of Materials (BOM), and interacting with project teams and clients. You will also be responsible for reviewing drawings, ensuring they adhere to all required standards.
 
As a Technical Lead- Sr. Project Engineer YOU will: 

  • Apply sound engineering principles, including natural gas utility engineering, to produce high-quality designs with guidance from senior engineers and managers.
  • Perform engineering calculations and tasks to assist in creating plans, specifications, permits, and other engineering documents.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits to verify designs meet specifications, company standards, and quality requirements.
  • Work closely with drafters and designers to ensure design markups and standards are met.
  • Communicate effectively with Project Managers regarding design progress, schedule updates, scope changes, and potential delays.
  • Review regulatory and industry codes and standards to ensure full compliance in design work.
  • Engage with clients in drawing reviews, gathering design information, and providing project updates.

YOU are the ideal Tehcnical Lead-Sr. Project Engineer candidate if you have: 

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) in an Engineering field from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Must be eligible to sit for the FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) and PE (Professional Engineer) exams.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in natural gas pipeline and pipeline facilities design.
  • Strong understanding of meters, regulators, translators, gas control equipment, and valves.
  • Experience in reading, interpreting, and applying industry codes and regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in engineering calculations for pipeline and equipment specifications.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and self-driven attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and within a remote team, maintaining consistent hours and quality output.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact with peers, leadership, and clients effectively.
  • Unquestioned business and personal integrity, organizational skills, and high sense of urgency.
