RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Vice President of Sales. This is a full time, direct hire, remote position with our client.
Overview of YOUR role as a Vice President of Sales:
The Vice President of Sales is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving sales initiatives, revenue growth and market expansion in a direct sales and distributor management environment. This position will develop and lead a high performing sales team through developing and executing sales strategies and establishing strong relationships with key stakeholders to achieve aggressive business goals.
As a Vice President of Sales YOU will:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
- Driving revenue generation by setting ambitious sales targets, monitoring sales performance, and consistently exceeding targets.
- Implement strategies to capture new business opportunities and expand market share.
- Hiring, managing and developing a dynamic sales team.
- Fostering a high-performance culture, provide guidance, and set clear expectations to ensure individual and collective success.
- Providing ongoing training and coaching to foster skills development and enhance product knowledge.
- Travel globally in support of key accounts sales strategies and tactics.
- Analyzing and enhancing the sales process to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Implementing best practices and sales methodologies to improve sales productivity.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with marketing, product management and customer support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Developing accurate sales forecasts, monitoring sales metrics, and providing regular reports to executive leadership.
- Identifying and presenting market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive strategic decision-making.Identifying new market opportunities and developing entry strategies.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, finance, and operations to align sales efforts with overall company objectives and ensure best execution.
- Managing the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective execution of sales initiatives.
- Producing monthly reports outlining both current and proposed activities, customer visits, revenue statuses, and revenue forecasts.
- Reinforcing use of Sales Tools (Salesforce, Power BI) to meet sales objectives by maintaining and developing the customer pipeline and ensuring real-time CRM usage for data gathering.
- This position will manage the Sales and Customer Service Teams.
- Ability to develop written requirements (specifications) for electro-mechanical systems and custom software applicationsProven success in driving revenue and market share growth.
- Strong P&L management skills to ensure quarterly results are met.
- Strong leadership skills and success in people management. Proven track record of building high performance sales team.
- Thorough commercial and analytical skills to help identify market trends and opportunities, refining business and account plans to exploit such opportunities.
- Proven experience developing Account Manager teams with low staff turnover and significant positive revenue impact.
- Excellent project management, analytical, and organization skills with demonstrated ability to effectively implement change.
- Demonstrated creative and effective problem-solving skills.Passionate about coaching sales teams in understanding customer businesses, investigating and uncovering their most important problems to solve and match Eddyfi’ s solutions to these.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, relationship building and influencing skills.
YOU are the ideal Vice President of Sales candidate if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline or AS from an NDT school (combinations of other education combined with appropriate work experience will be considered)
- 10+ years of proven success in a sales, account management and/or business development role with quota carrying (ideally for NDT solutions or B2B solutions with long and complex sales cycles).
- Five or more years’ experience introducing new products and/or capabilities to the marketplace.
- Minimum of 5 years’ direct experience with NDT product development and roadmap management
- Be able to travel up to 50%
It’s a BONUS if you have:
- MBA is a plus.
- Direct experience and/or knowledge of Nuclear Steam Generation Market a plus
