RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Business Development Manager in Denver, CO 80203. This is a Full-Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid assignment with our client.
Overview of YOUR role as a Business Development Manager:
Responsible for leading and driving business development efforts across land development, residential, industrial, retail, mixed-use, healthcare, educational, and recreational projects. This role focuses on identifying and securing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the overall success and profitability of projects in alignment with the firm’s annual business development objectives.
As a Business Development Manager YOU will:
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Work closely with leadership to align business development activities with the firm’s growth objectives.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, building and nurturing long-term relationships. Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs, provide feedback, and ensure satisfaction.
- Lead the preparation of proposals for engineering services, including pricing, estimating, and strategic positioning. Ensure proposals are competitive and align with client expectations.
- Supervise the successful execution of projects, ensuring they meet budget, schedule, and quality standards. Oversee project teams, providing direction and support to ensure timely completion and profitability.
- Manage and mentor a team of technical staff, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and conducting regular reviews to support professional growth and development.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, potential clients, and emerging opportunities. Use data-driven insights to refine business development strategies.
- Actively participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build the firm’s reputation and expand its client base.
- Oversee billing, accounts receivable, and collection efforts to ensure accurate and timely payments. Monitor project profitability and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Contribute to the firm’s strategic planning efforts by providing market insights, identifying potential areas for expansion, and proposing new services or markets to target.
- Conduct site visits and attend client meetings as needed, ensuring clear communication and alignment between the client’s vision and project execution.
- Perform other related tasks that support the firm’s business development and project management goals.
YOU are the ideal Business Development Manager candidate if you have:
- 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or project management within the land development, residential, commercial, or industrial sectors.
- Prior experience as a professional engineer is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
