RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Manpower Manager in Houston, Tx. This is a full time, direct hire, office based assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package, including benefits, vacation, and holidays.
Overview of YOUR role as a Manpower Manager
The Manpower Manager will be responsible for workforce planning, sourcing, and management to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and growth. This role focuses on talent acquisition, workforce optimization, and personnel development while supporting smooth business operations with field personnel.
As a Manpower Manager, YOU will:
• Manage a team of technicians, providing leadership, performance oversight, and support.
• Assign tasks and projects while ensuring timely and quality completion.
• Conduct team meetings to discuss progress, address issues, and plan activities.
• Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
• Monitor and evaluate team and individual performance, offering constructive feedback.
• Address disciplinary and employee relation issues in coordination with HR and senior management.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to boost morale and productivity.
• Organize and prepare for meetings, managing logistics, agendas, and follow-ups.
• Support the recruiting team in hiring, interviewing, and selecting new team members.
• Assist training managers with document control, class preparation, and development programs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, including expense reporting and performance evaluations.
• Travel occasionally to support recruitment initiatives and job site observations.
YOU are the ideal Manpower Manager candidate if you have:
• 3–5 years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Strong organizational, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience in workforce planning, talent acquisition, or manpower optimization.
• A commitment to safety, ethics, and professional integrity.
It’s a BONUS if you have:
• 3 years of experience in training & development or managing a training function.
• Experience in candidate screening and recruitment processes.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance procedures.
